Description
The Rowan County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a qualified landscape architecture and design firm to provide site selection, design, and potential architectural and construction administration services for therapeutic recreation facilities. The selected firm will collaborate with the department to evaluate facility needs and identify associated staffing requirements. The scope of work includes professional landscape architecture, engineering, architectural, and related support services necessary to prepare schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, bidding and negotiation materials, and construction-phase services. The firm should have experience in planning and administrative work for similar projects and should provide a brief narrative of their prior experience and qualifications.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Site selection for new or renovated therapeutic recreation facilities
• Landscape architectural design
• Surveying
• Environmental services and permitting
• Civil engineering
• Architectural building design
• Staffing and cost estimating (as applicable)
• Construction administration
The selected firm will be invited to negotiate a master contract with Rowan County for a term not to exceed five years.
