The Advanced Light Source (ALS) project seeks a design‑build subcontractor to supply two solid‑state pulsed high‑power amplifiers (HPAs) for the Sub‑Harmonic Buncher (SHB) system – one operating at 125 MHz and one at 500 MHz, each rated at ~25 kW pulsed output. The contractor must handle complete engineering, fabrication, testing (including a 100‑hour heat‑run test), NRTL safety certification, shipping, on‑site installation, and commissioning, with a 12‑month performance period. • Design and deliver two turnkey solid‑state RF amplifiers (125 MHz & 500 MHz, ≥25 kW pulsed) • Provide all engineering documentation, control‑system code, and compliance certifications (NRTL, safety, export‑control) • Conduct factory acceptance testing, support site installation, and provide a warranty (options for 24‑ or 36‑month extensions)
