IDIQ CONTRACT FOR FMD PARTS CONTRACT

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking a contractor to provide original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) overhaul parts kits for the ALCO 251 engines used in Medium Endurance Cutters and Long Range Enforcers. The USCG intends to award a sole source requirements type contract to fulfill these requirements. The contractor must have the capability to provide genuine OEM supplies and demonstrate their ability to access OEM technical information required to produce and assemble the parts kits. The key work and scope of work include providing overhaul parts kits for inventory stock and direct delivery for overhaul and maintenance. Some key points to consider are: • The USCG does not possess the proprietary technical specifications, drawings, manufacturing/provisioning data, or special tools necessary to provide these parts kits. • The contractor must have the capability to provide specific overhaul parts kits. • Potential sources must submit information demonstrating their capabilities to provide genuine OEM supplies and access to OEM technical information. • The Government is not liable to pay for or reimburse any companies that respond to this announcement.
