Roof Repairs - National Center for Cool and the Cold-Water Aquaculture (NCCCWA)

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a contractor to perform roof repairs at the National Center for Cool and the Cold-Water Aquaculture (NCCCWA) in Kearneysville, West Virginia. The project involves reusing 50% of the existing insulation and installing new R-30 insulation. The contractor will also need to remove and reset the existing insulation to allow for the installation of a new vapor barrier. Additionally, the contractor will need to infill the dormer areas with roof panels to match the existing panels. • The project is set-aside for small business concerns with a size standard of $19 million. • The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238160 – Roofing Contractors. • A mandatory site visit is scheduled for this requirement. • The period of performance is 240 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
