Interior Renovations

The Glen Lake Community Schools is soliciting bids for interior renovations to classrooms, the Elementary Media Center, Lobby, and common areas throughout the building. The project includes architectural finishes, casework, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC upgrades. The construction program is phased and scheduled to occur over the summers of 2026 and 2027, with portions of the building remaining occupied throughout the course of construction. The project requires exceptional quality and workmanship from trade partners. • The project is divided into multiple work categories, including Masonry, General Trades, Wall and Ceilings, Flooring, Painting & Wallcovering, Mechanical & Plumbing Systems, and Electrical Systems. • The project has specific requirements, including background checks, no smoking, and appropriate clothing for a school environment. • The project also has safety requirements, including hi-vis, hardhats, and safety glasses. • The bid due date is January 6, 2025, at 2:00 pm, and the award approval is scheduled for January 13, 2025.
