Description

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Sacramento District (SPK) is anticipating a potential requirement for design-bid-build (DBB) construction services to renovate three pumping stations in the Natomas region of Sacramento, California. The work for each site is anticipated to consist of removing the discharge pipes that currently go through the levee and installing new discharge piping that will traverse over the levee. The project will require Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 1 Self Certification. The Government estimates the target price range of the project to be between $10,000,000.00 and $13,000,000.00. • The project involves renovating three pumping stations: Elkhorn Pumping Plant, Riverside Pumping Plant, and Pritchard Pumping Plant. • The work at each site includes levee excavation, removal of existing piping and appurtenances, levee embankment backfill and compaction, installation of new piping, and other tasks. • The project will be completed within 1095 calendar days from Contractor receipt of Notice to Proceed, with construction occurring sequentially over three years at a rate of one plant per construction season. • The solicitation will be issued using North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. • The small business size standard for this NAICS is $45,000,000.00 annual revenue.
