Situational Awareness, Boundary Enforcement and Response (SABER) Computing Hardware for Surface Ships

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is seeking information from industry for the production of computing platforms to host the software operating environment and other cybersecurity computer program applications for the Situational Awareness, Boundary Enforcement and Response (SABER) system. The SABER system is currently fielded on 30 Navy ships, and the Navy is looking to procure additional units after 2027. The system includes a single Grade B shock hardened electronic equipment rack and ancillary hardware that is installed in shipboard spaces to provide Defensive Cyber Operations capabilities for fleet assets. • The Navy is seeking information on companies' ability to manage all design and production aspects of SABER equipment hardware production. • The Navy is seeking information on companies' experience with building shipboard racks and equipment from a government-provided Technical Data Package (TDP). • The Navy is seeking information on companies' ability to provide systems engineering to design, develop, test, qualify, produce, deliver, and support display, videos, printers, and related hardware. • The Navy is seeking information on companies' ability to implement and maintain a Configuration Management (CM) program and a Reliability, Maintainability, and Quality Assurance (RMQA) program.
