Description
The Jackson County Board of Supervisors is seeking bids for the Local System Bridge Program (LSBP) Project No. LSBP-30(18) Constitution Road Bridge Replacement. The project involves the replacement of the Constitution Road Bridge, including roadway items such as mobilization, clearing and grubbing, removal of obstructions, and bridge items like test piles, conventional static pile load test, and precast concrete slab units. The contract time is 150 working days. The award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of published quantities.
• Roadway items: mobilization, clearing and grubbing, removal of obstructions, removal of bridge, removal of asphalt, removal of concrete, unclassified excavation, borrow excavation, excess excavation, geogrid, crushed stone, corrugated polyethylene pipe, guard rail, maintenance of traffic, additional construction signs, reflectorized traffic object marker.
• Bridge items: test piles, conventional static pile load test, precast concrete slab units, precast concrete barrier rail, precast concrete cap, loose riprap, geotextile under riprap.
• Erosion control items: topsoil for slope treatment, agricultural limestone, commercial fertilizer, ammonium nitrate, seeding, vegetative materials for mulch, solid sodding, temporary silt fence, wattles.
The project shall be constructed in accordance with the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction.
