Intent to Sole Source: Musco Ramp Lights

The Department of the Air Force, 4th Contracting Squadron, intends to award a sole source purchase to Musco Sports Lighting, LLC, for the replacement and upgrade of existing Musco lights and poles at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. The required items include proprietary LED retrofit kits necessary to replace failing lights on the F-15E aircraft ramp, specifically fourteen Musco QuickFit QF-900 LED Luminaires, one Musco Flight Light L810NV dual obstruction light, and associated remote electrical components. • The procurement is for commodities only, with no service required. • The purchase will be made under the authority of RFO 6.103-1, allowing for a sole source contract when only one responsible source can meet the agency's requirements. • Responses to this notice must demonstrate that competition would be advantageous to the Government and that the responding vendor can meet the technical and security requirements.
