Description
The Town of Mansfield is seeking a qualified firm to provide professional architectural and engineering services for the design and construction of a new Animal Control Facility. The scope of work includes facility programming, preliminary design, design development, construction documents, and bidding assistance. The selected firm will be responsible for ensuring that the design meets the new State Animal Shelter requirements and is sustainable, energy-efficient, and maintainable. The project is expected to start in spring 2027 and be completed by spring 2028.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Conducting stakeholder meetings to identify operational requirements and desired features
• Developing a detailed space program and preliminary design options
• Preparing construction documents and technical specifications
• Coordinating with other public engagement and planning efforts
