Description
The City of Cortez is seeking competitive sealed best value bids for the purchase of one used 4,000-gallon water truck. The equipment shall meet or exceed specifications, and bidders shall provide complete specifications, warranty details, and delivery schedule. The bid process will involve two steps: evaluation of qualifications and bid prices. The City reserves the right to waive any formality or informality in the process of awarding a bid.
• The water truck shall be fully operational, in good mechanical condition, and ready for immediate service at the time of delivery.
• The vehicle shall not exceed a maximum of 20,000 miles at the time of bid submission, and the tank shall be stainless steel and not be lined.
• The vehicle shall have a clean title, with no salvage, rebuilt, or branded designation.
• All known maintenance records and vehicle history shall be disclosed at the time of bid submission.
