Intent to Sole Source T-Tap Adaptors ( Terma 3D Audio System Adaptors)

The Air National Guard (ANG) intends to sole source a contract for T-Tap Adaptors, also known as Terma 3D Audio System Adaptors, to Pro Flight Gear LLC. The adaptor is designed to provide multiple platform communication for 3D Audio Helmets and will be used with the Passive Attenuation Communications Earphone (PACE) System. The ANG requires 518 PACE T-Tap Adaptors, and the contract will be awarded without full and open competition. Key features of the adaptor include: * Integration with the PACE system and Terma 3D Audio earphones * Ability to achieve required audio quality when using 3D Audio earphones in aircraft not equipped with the 3D Audio System * Interface with various helmet/aircraft communication systems without requiring major rewiring or replacement of existing cords * Constant communication signal to aircrew members throughout aircraft operations * Left and Right Channel Support of 3-D audio system * Size limitations: not exceeding 1 ¾ inch width, 1 inch depth, and 2 inch length * Tested and approved by the ANG/AFRC Test Center at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona
