Description
The State of Tennessee is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the dam stem and repair the riser gate at Chickasaw Lake’s Lajoie Dam in Chickasaw State Park. This turnkey project includes demolition of existing components, dredging, installation of a custom stainless‑steel stem assembly, gear mechanisms, testing, training, and final cleanup. Bidders must hold an appropriate Tennessee contractor license, provide required insurance, and comply with Buy‑America and other statutory requirements. The contract is awarded to the lowest responsive bidder and runs for an initial six‑month term, with a possible extension up to five years.
