The State of Nevada Purchasing Division is seeking proposals for a vendor to supply software and services surrounding the tracking of the outgoing and return delivery of mail ballots, and the status of mail ballots issued during the next two election cycles ranging from 2026-2029. The system should allow for the tracking of mail ballots and the notification of voters by phone message, text/SMS, and email based on ballot statuses provided by the city, county or state voter registration system. The vendor must provide training, operational manuals, and opportunities to onboard and train each participating Nevada State staff or County Clerk/Registrar and their staff.
Some key features of the system include:
• Ability to integrate with the TotalVote (TV) Statewide Voter Registration and Election Management System (VREMS)
• Customer facing portal and NV SOS and county tools or dashboards to provide adequate research, voter assistance, and reporting capabilities
• Ability to track ballots and provide enhanced reporting on timelines and metrics
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and U.S Postal Service (USPS) to use, track, and send notifications using the Intelligent Mail barcode (IMB)
• Technical support for the vendor's services available for any NV SOS or Nevada County Clerk/Registrar's staff
