Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, is soliciting proposals for the design and construction of levee access manholes for the Fairfax-Jersey Creek Levee Unit in Kansas City, Kansas. The project will consist of design-build construction services to install access manholes on existing seepage lines on the levee. The contractor will be responsible for design and construction of manholes on the landside levee slope and berm. The access manholes are needed to facilitate regular inspection of the existing seepage collection system.
• The estimated period of performance for completion of the awarded contract is 365 calendar days from the notice to proceed (NTP).
• The estimated magnitude of this project, including all contract line items, is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
• The solicitation will be conducted using full and open competition.
