Asbestos Abatement Services

The County of Rockland is seeking bids for asbestos abatement services at various government locations on an "as needed" basis. The successful bidder will be required to provide all labor, personnel, materials, tools, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary for the completion of project tasks. The contract will be for a period of one year with the option to renew for three additional one-year terms. The bidder must be fully licensed by the State of New York Department of Health to perform asbestos abatement and disposal. • The bidder must have available under their direct employment and supervision the necessary organization and facilities to properly fulfill all the services and conditions required under these specifications. • The bidder must have maintained an organization capable of performing the work specified herein for at least the past five years. • The bidder must submit a list of five asbestos abatement projects completed within the last three years for which they are designated Primary Contractor. • The bidder must include in their bid all labor, personnel, materials, tools, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary for the completion of project tasks. • The bidder must provide, at their own expense, all electrical, water, and waste connections, tie-ins, extensions, construction materials, and supplies necessary for each project.
