Description
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a contractor to replace and install a detector and cryotrap on a Pegasus BT 4D GC-MS instrument located at the San Joaquin Valley Agricultural Sciences Center in Parlier, California. The contractor will be responsible for purchasing a certified refurbished MCP detector, installing the detector and cryotrap, and providing end-user familiarization. The instrument is used for research and analysis, and the replacement and installation of the detector and cryotrap are necessary to ensure its proper functioning.
The key requirements of the project include:
* Purchasing a certified refurbished MCP detector model #614-700-200-RFB
* Installing the detector and cryotrap on the Pegasus BT 4D GC-MS instrument
* Providing end-user familiarization on the proper operation of the instrument
* Ensuring that all work is completed within the specified period of performance (May 1, 2026 - July 31, 2026)
* Delivering all items to the San Joaquin Valley Agricultural Sciences Center in Parlier, California.
