Description
The City of Mt. Shasta is seeking to purchase a Small Articulated Loader or equivalent for agency use in road and sidewalk maintenance related projects. The primary use will be for snow removal work on sidewalks. Occasional use will be for some minor road and sidewalk repair/reconstruction. The City desires a machine that can operate a hydraulically driven snow blower attachment, with a front bucket between 48” and 50” in width, and an enclosed cab with a heater. The machine should have a maximum weight of 5,000 pounds and meet various technical specifications.
• Engine horsepower shall be no less than 24 hp
• Tier 4 diesel engine
• Fuel Tank Capacity should be at least 5 gallons
• Hydraulic system, minimum flow of 12 gpm and 2900 psi
• Maximum height to top of cab = 80”
• Maximum width (outside of tread) =48”
• Minimum travel speed of 8 mph
• Minimum ground clearance = 5”
• Minimum tipping load of 3000#
