Description
The County of Kauai is seeking a qualified attorney to provide special counsel services for PFAS settlement. The selected attorney will provide advice, counsel, and representation in civil litigation and related matters involving manufacturers and distributors of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The services may include participation in multi-district litigation and the filing and management of settlement claims. The attorney must be licensed in the State of Hawaii and have experience in handling similar cases.
• The attorney will provide legal services to the County of Kauai
• The attorney will have experience in handling PFAS-related cases
• The attorney will be required to participate in multi-district litigation and file and manage settlement claims
• The attorney will be required to provide advice and counsel to the County of Kauai
• The attorney will be required to have a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 annual aggregate insurance coverage
