Description
The State of Alaska, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), is proposing to grant a successive land lease to Lake Hood Air Harbor Inc. The lease is for a term of 55 years, beginning August 1, 2026, and ending July 31, 2081. The premises consist of approximately 60,037 square feet, located at Block 14, Lot 2C. The proposed authorized uses include operating and maintaining an aircraft hangar, ancillary office space, sales of aircraft and aeronautical equipment and supplies, servicing of aircraft and aeronautical equipment, operation of a light aircraft flight school, and use of aircraft tiedowns.
• The lease rental rate is $7,204.44 per year, calculated at $0.12 per square foot.
• The lease is subject to the Department's right to correct technical defects and reject any or all applications.
• The Department operates Federal Programs without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
