The City of Tacoma is seeking a qualified contractor to design, supply, install, and test ten (10) × 61‑strand restressable post‑tensioned tied‑down anchors plus one verification anchor on the right‑ and left‑wing walls of Cushman No. 1 Dam. Work includes pilot‑hole drilling, televiewer logging, demolition of existing anchor pockets, installation of new anchors, grout placement, performance testing, and compliance with a detailed Water‑Quality Protection Plan. The contract value is estimated between $7 M and $8 M with an additional $1.2 M force‑account allowance, and the construction window is 130 working days (≈ 6 months) beginning after a notice to commence in early December 2026. Key dates include a mandatory pre‑bid meeting/site showing on 18 Aug 2026, a question deadline of 24 Sep 2026, and a bid submission deadline of 6 Oct 2026.
