Description
The Virginia Resources Authority is seeking qualified legal counsel to act as lender’s counsel on upcoming financing projects. This RFP calls for an experienced law firm or attorney to provide comprehensive legal services that support the Authority’s lending activities, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating loan documents, ensuring compliance with applicable statutes, and advising on risk mitigation.
• Provide legal advice and representation for loan transactions and related financing activities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, security instruments, and related documentation.
• Conduct due‑diligence, identify legal risks, and advise on mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Virginia state laws, federal regulations, and industry best practices.
• Deliver timely, cost‑effective counsel throughout the lifecycle of each financing deal.
