Description
The City of Baton Rouge, Parish of East Baton Rouge is seeking bids for the purchase of a 2026 or newer Ford F600 4x4 chassis articulating telescopic bucker truck. The truck should meet the specifications outlined in the bid document, including having a fiberglass upper boom and fiberglass insulator in the articulating arm, and proportional joystick upper controls. The successful bidder will be required to deliver the truck to the City-Parish's Department of Fleet Management/Central Garage.
• The truck should have a ground to bottom of platform height of 40.8 feet at 7.3 feet from the centerline of rotation.
• The truck should have a working height of 45.8 feet.
• The truck should have a maximum reach to edge of platform with upper boom non-overcenter of 30.1 feet.
• The truck should have a continuous rotation and articulating arm with insulation.
• The truck should have a hydraulic master-slave leveling system for platform leveling.
