Remodeling at the WSU Wattis Building Dean's Area

The University is seeking a qualified contractor to fully remodel the Dean’s area within the Wattis Building. The work includes interior demolition, wall repair and painting, ceiling tile replacement, installation of new metal storefront doors with electronic access hardware, provision of new electrical outlets, addition of cabinetry, wood paneling, glass whiteboards, and artwork placement. All work must meet university specifications, include required bonding and insurance, and be completed by the substantial‑completion date. • Demolition of existing finishes, removal of pictures, signs, vinyl decals, and door hardware. • Installation of new doors (metal storefront) with electronic access preparation (161L NDE series). • Interior finishes: patch walls, paint with Sherwin‑Williams “Mindful Gray,” replace ceiling tiles where needed. • Electrical: install 26 standard 110 V outlets on 7 circuits, surface‑mount or recessed as indicated. • Dean’s conference room upgrades: new lower cabinet with mini‑fridge space, wood panels, glass whiteboards, and artwork mounting. • Mandatory pre‑bid meeting on 9/24/2026; 5 % bid bond required; performance and payment bonds required before work commences.
