Description
The Dorchester County Government is seeking bids for litter removal services at the Dorchester County Landfill. The contract will be for a period of 30 months, starting approximately December 2025. The successful contractor will be required to provide as-needed litter/debris pickup at the landfill, with a minimum of 1 year experience in providing similar services. The contractor will be paid on an 8-hour working day basis, with a prorated hourly rate for unforeseen issues. The contractor will be required to have public liability and property damage insurance, as well as worker's compensation insurance.
• The contractor will be required to provide all supervision, labor, tools, gloves, vest, equipment, and transportation to perform the work.
• The contractor will be required to have a minimum of 2 up to 4 working laborers at all times.
• The contractor will not be paid for downtime or inclement weather.
• The contractor will be required to submit invoices on a monthly basis.
• The contractor will be required to provide a certificate of insurance and W9 prior to payment.
