AS-NEEDED HAZARDOUS WASTE REMOVAL SERVICES - RFSQ

The County of Los Angeles Department of Beaches and Harbors is seeking qualified companies to enter into Master Agreements to provide as-needed hazardous waste removal services. The services to be provided should include, but are not limited to, assisting with the legal pick-up, removal, transportation, and disposal of Department-generated hazardous and contaminated non-hazardous waste, and materials from various sites, facilities, and storm drains located in the County. Vendors submitting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) must have and be able to demonstrate a minimum of five years’ continuous experience in the removal of hazardous materials for public and/or private sector entities. • Assist with the legal pick-up, removal, transportation, and disposal of Department-generated hazardous and contaminated non-hazardous waste, and materials from various sites, facilities, and storm drains located in the County. • Perform a quarterly “roundup” of waste materials at multiple sites within the County, on a periodic and as-needed basis, when notified by the Department’s Contract Monitor. • Periodically clean and pump out clarifier tanks. • Provide removal of hazardous waste in emergent situations.
