Description
This IFB seeks a single provider to deliver on‑call hazardous‑waste collection, transport, disposal or recycling services for Caltrans facilities in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, including laboratory‑packed waste, hazardous chemicals, and related materials. The contractor must also supply packaging, dual‑rated drums, bins, and provide guidance on compliance, as well as perform—or subcontract—ELAP‑certified laboratory testing. The work is on‑call, covering a three‑year period, with a maximum contract ceiling of $4.24 M.
• Provide 24/7 on‑call pickup, removal, packaging, transport and disposal/recycling of a wide range of hazardous and regulated waste types.
• Supply required containers (55‑gal drums, tri‑wall boxes, etc.), bin rental, and maintain equipment (trucks, portable scales, PPE).
• Submit quarterly waste‑quantity reports, spill diaries, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local hazardous‑waste regulations, including DVBE participation and SB goals.
