Description

The Colonial School District (in partnership with Red Clay Consolidated School District) is seeking qualified vendors to join a pool of providers for drop‑out prevention services. The contract will cover a three‑year period (August 7 2026 through August 4 2029) and may be invoked for a variety of youth‑support activities, such as college and career preparation, case management, tutoring, mentorship, attendance improvement, and family outreach. Vendors must submit hourly rates and demonstrate capacity, experience, and staff expertise; the award may be made to multiple vendors and the district may terminate with 30‑day notice. No bid deposit or performance bond is required, but insurance, background checks, and diversity reporting are mandatory.

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

The RFP does not disclose a total contract value; however, a three‑year contract covering multiple service categories typically ranges from a few hundred thousand to a few million dollars, depending on the number of staff, hourly rates, and volume of services delivered. Assuming an average hourly rate of $50‑$150 and an estimated 10,000 service hours per year, the total spend could fall between $500,000 and $2,000,000 over the contract term.
