Description
Florida Keys Electric Cooperative is seeking a qualified contractor to engineer, procure, and construct a new vehicle fuel tank and associated fuel system. The scope includes design engineering, supply of a steel fuel tank, installation of fuel piping, pumps, and related infrastructure, as well as removal of an existing tank farm (except a 4,000‑gallon vehicle fuel tank that will be removed after work completion). The project will leave the concrete floor without remaining sumps.
• Design and engineering of a vehicle fuel storage system meeting applicable codes and standards.
• Procurement and delivery of a steel fuel tank, pumps, piping, and ancillary equipment.
• Complete installation, testing, and commissioning of the fuel system.
• Demolition and removal of existing above‑ground storage tanks and associated structures, preserving the concrete slab.
