Description
The City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities, is seeking bids for the purchase of two electric utility carts. The carts must meet specific requirements, including a minimum payload of 800lbs and a towing capacity of 1500lbs. The successful bidder will be required to provide a warranty for the equipment and perform warranty service. Bidders must submit references from four separate contracts and provide an outline of their experience and work history in supplying similar equipment.
• The carts must be operable at speeds up to 17mph minimum.
• The cart body, with the exception of the roof and aluminum pieces, shall be painted black.
• The cart shall have a maximum length of 138” and a maximum width of 51”.
• The bidder shall submit a copy of the dealer’s build sheets with the bid.
• The successful bidder shall supply two copies of all parts lists, service, maintenance, and operation manuals upon delivery of the equipment.
