The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Office of the Secretary (OST), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), announces the availability of funding under Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) Number OST/OSDBU-2026-SBTTAC-Region 6-FY2026-1 to establish and operate the Region 6 Small Business Transportation Technical Assistance Center (SBTTAC) to provide technical support to small businesses in the transportation sector. The cooperative agreement is for one award for a 12-month base year with two option years, based on performance. The SBTTAC Program is designed to strengthen the capacity, competitiveness, and readiness of small businesses to compete for and perform on Federal, state, local, and private transportation contracts.
• The program will provide technical assistance and business development support to small businesses in the transportation sector.
• The program will offer capital infusion assistance, individualized business counseling, and structured training workshops.
• The program will provide referrals to USDOT programs, including the National Bonding Education Program (BEP).
• The program will require the recipient to deliver measurable, outcome-driven services and to track and report performance metrics.
