Maintenance for Natural Gas Engines

EPWater is soliciting proposals for the maintenance of natural gas engines with hardware and covers. The selected offeror will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing 25 stationary natural gas engines. The contract will be for a one-year term with the option for four one-year extensions. The offeror must provide a preventive maintenance service that includes weekly engine inspections and address any issues that arise. The offeror must also maintain a master set of maintenance records for the engines and provide a monthly checklist and report for the weekly PM service. • The offeror must demonstrate possession of adequate equipment and resources to perform the required work. • The offeror must provide satisfactory evidence of the availability and adequacy of such equipment and resources. • The offeror must maintain local shop facilities and adequate storage facilities for parts and materials. • The offeror must respond to job sites within two hours after EPWater's phone call notification of a problem. • The offeror must provide proof of employee qualifications and maintain a parts inventory. • The offeror must submit a detailed cost proposal for each overhaul or maintenance service. • The offeror must provide at least three references for similar continuous services provided for at least two years. • The offeror must demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience in natural gas engine maintenance and repair.
