The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to reconfigure or replace existing office furniture/cubicles at a location in Madison, WI. The existing furniture was originally purchased in 2021 and features low panels that inhibit private customer service and create acoustic and visual distractions. The Government intends to reconfigure or replace the system with a new layout comprising fourteen or fifteen total structures, featuring taller 66" high privacy panels to isolate noise and protect customer privacy. The contractor will be responsible for disassembling the existing cubicles, rebuilding the new layout, and integrating existing and reused components with newly sourced components. The contractor must also provide necessary new components, including new panels, panel trims, hinges, and corner connectors, as well as ensure return work surfaces for L-shaped and U-shaped desks.
• The new layout will introduce additional return work surfaces, increased storage, and modified electrical routing.
• The contractor must provide a minimum warranty of one year from the date of final Government acceptance.
• The contractor must acknowledge and coordinate facility constraints, including electrical demarcation and IT/data lines.
• The contractor must provide a detailed technical description, including sufficient information demonstrating that proposed new items are compatible and will match in form and finish to reused items.
