Description
The University of South Carolina is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a comprehensive envelope restoration on McMaster College located at 1106 Pickens Street, Columbia, SC. The base bid scope includes full removal and replacement of exterior sealants, wet sealing of all glazing, steel preparation, priming and painting, replacement of expansion joints and covers, full façade cleaning, EIFS cornice repairs with elastomeric coating, selective masonry repointing, and abatement of minor non‑friable asbestos‑containing material. Bids must be submitted sealed by 3:00 PM on 21 Oct 2026. A pre‑bid conference will be held on 6 Oct 2026. The contract will be awarded under a design‑bid‑build delivery method and will require performance and labor‑and‑material payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract price.
