Oakmont Pavement Maintenance

The City of Santa Rosa is seeking a qualified design‑build contractor to provide full design and construction services for pavement maintenance across the Oakmont residential community. The scope includes slurry seal, cape seal, and asphalt‑rubber cape seal treatments, curb‑ramp reconstruction to meet ADA and Caltrans standards, temporary and new striping, vegetation removal, community outreach, and coordination with the homeowner’s association. The contract will be awarded on a guaranteed‑maximum‑price basis, with design services commencing in January 2027 and construction running from June to October 2027. • Perform complete design‑build services (civil, structural, traffic, environmental) for street resurfacing and curb‑ramp upgrades. • Apply slurry, cape, and asphalt‑rubber seal coatings according to pavement condition categories. • Deliver extensive community outreach (meetings, postcards, door‑hangers, website updates, dedicated phone line) and coordinate with the HOA. • Meet California prevailing‑wage, skilled‑and‑trained‑workforce, insurance, bonding, and safety requirements. • Manage a five‑month construction schedule, provide progress reports, and adhere to strict warranty and warranty‑period obligations.
