Description
This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for project number 614-26-101 that requires Architect/Engineering (A/E) Design Services to correct architectural deficiencies within the SPS areas at the Memphis VA Medical Center in Memphis, TN. The project involves renovating approximately 12,100 sq. ft. to replace ceilings and flooring, repair damaged walls, and ensure tight seals. The A/E firm will provide design period services, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and bid documents. The firm will also attend project meetings, record meeting minutes, and furnish meeting minutes and sketches as required.
• The A/E firm must have experience in energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, and the use of recovered materials.
• The firm must have the capacity to accomplish the work in the required time.
• The firm must have past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules.
• The firm must have a reputation and standing with respect to professional performance, general management, and cooperativeness.
• The firm must have specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project and their record of working together as a team.
