Description

The National Institutes of Health is seeking a contractor to provide PFAS analysis services for the HOPE 1000 study. The contractor will be responsible for receiving and storing plasma samples, analyzing the samples using untargeted LC-HRMS and targeted analysis, and providing quality control and assurance checks of the collected data. The contractor will also be required to transfer the clean data to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and provide consulting services on analysis of the data and co-authorship of publications. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must have the capability to fulfill the requirement as it relates to the technical evaluation criteria. • The price proposal must include labor categories, an estimate of the number of hours required for each labor category, and a breakdown of other direct costs or materials. • The contractor must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). • The contract is expected to be awarded on a non-competitive basis to Emory University.

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $600,000

The budget for this contract can be estimated based on the scope of work and the fact that it is a non-competitive award to Emory University. The project involves analyzing 903 plasma samples, which may require specialized equipment and personnel. Assuming an average cost of $500 per sample for analysis, the total cost for the project would be around $451,500. Additionally, the contractor will need to provide consulting services, which may add another $50,000 to $100,000 to the total cost. Therefore, the estimated budget for this contract is between $500,000 and $600,000.
