Description
The Romoland School District is seeking qualified contractors to perform site‑work and install two district‑provided modular office buildings at the Granite Hills TK‑8 School campus. The scope includes excavation, utility installation, foundations, temporary facilities, safety fencing, site grading, storm‑water controls, and all related construction activities required to place the modular units in service within a 56‑day contract period.
• Site work: earthmoving, grading, utility trenching, foundation pads, and concrete work.
• Modular office installation: placement, anchoring, utility connections, and compliance with fire‑sprinkler and accessibility requirements.
• Safety & site control: 6‑ft chain‑link fence with wind‑screen, daily housekeeping, and required OSHA/California safety plans.
• Mandatory pre‑bid conference (March 24 2026) and mandatory job‑walk (same date).
• Bid deadline April 22 2026; contract start anticipated June 15 2026 with a 56‑day performance window ending August 9 2026.
• Bid bond 10 % of total bid, performance & payment bonds 100 % of contract price, 5 % retainage, and liquidated‑damage provisions for late start or schedule overruns.
