NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Rees Scientific Corporation for the maintenance services, annual complete system revalidation, and technical support of an existing environmental monitoring system. The system has 561 system inputs, divided into 7 management nodes, with the option for expansion. The contractor will provide a 24/7 hotline for resolving system malfunctions, timely maintenance service calls, system user orientation, and repairs, with the burden of equipment and supplies for repairs and validation being covered by the vendor. The contract is expected to last for 5 years, with a base year and four one-year option periods. • The contractor must adhere to the installation's security requirements and the institution's safety requirements. • Annual validation will be documented in keeping with all healthcare industry quality requirements and performance standards. • The contractor must provide maintenance services, including repairs and technical support. • The contractor must provide a 24/7 hotline for resolving system malfunctions. • The contractor must provide system user orientation.
