Description
The City of Salina is soliciting bids to demolish the existing landfill scale house and truck scale and construct a new scale house facility with two truck scales, associated site grading, paving, utilities, and traffic‑control features at the municipal solid‑waste landfill. The scope covers complete demolition, earthwork, drainage, utility installation, building construction, mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, pavement, signage, fencing, and ancillary safety equipment. Bidders must provide a 5 % bid security and be prepared to furnish performance and payment bonds after award.
• Demolition of existing scale house, scales, pavement, and related infrastructure.
• Construction of a new scale house building, two truck scales, foundations, approach slabs, utilities (water, sewer, electric, generator), and full MEP systems.
• Site improvements including grading, aggregate base, asphalt & concrete paving, curbs, sidewalks, drainage, erosion control, lighting, signage, gates, and fencing.
