This solicitation seeks a single, brand‑new, diesel‑powered 4×2 stencil‑body truck (cab + chassis) built to Caltrans Specification 01983‑230‑261. The contractor must supply, paint (winter‑white), equip, test, deliver, and provide warranty documentation for a turnkey vehicle that includes an integrated air‑less paint system, safety lighting, backup camera, and all required manuals. Delivery must occur within 330 calendar days after the State’s purchase order receipt, and the award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• Supply a complete stencil‑body vehicle (≈ 25,500 lb GVWR) with diesel engine ≥ 250 hp, ABS, air‑brake system, and full cab amenities.
• Provide a winter‑white paint finish (minimum 4 mil total) and a self‑contained air‑less stencil system (pumps, drums, hoses, etc.).
• Deliver the vehicle to Caltrans Equipment Receiving in Sacramento, CA, and furnish all required documentation (registration, weight certificate, manuals, warranty agreement, Payee Data Record, etc.).
• Meet a 330‑day ARO delivery schedule; late delivery incurs a $350 per workday charge (capped at 25 % of order value).
• Comply with extensive certifications (small‑business, DVBE, Darfur, Iran, civil‑rights, CUF, TACPA, post‑consumer content, etc.) and submit all required forms with the bid.
