10th Street Shared Use Path

The City of Columbus, Indiana is seeking bids for the construction of a shared use path on 10th Street. The project includes the removal and replacement of existing sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, as well as the installation of new detectable warning surfaces, guardrails, and landscaping. The project is funded in part with Federal Transportation Authority flexed funding and is subject to various federal regulations, including the Davis Bacon Act and the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act. • The project requires the completion of various tasks, including mobilization and demobilization, clearing and grubbing, erosion control, pavement removal, and excavation. • The project also requires the installation of compacted aggregate, geogrid, and concrete sidewalks and curbs. • The successful bidder will be required to complete the project by July 1, 2026, and will be subject to liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on time. • The project is open to all qualified bidders, and the City of Columbus reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
