Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is soliciting bids for a cutterhead dredge to perform dredging work in the New Orleans Harbor and various bar channels. The work consists of furnishing one fully crewed and equipped hydraulic pipeline cutterhead dredge on a rental basis. The dredge will be required to operate in river stages above 12 feet at the New Orleans (Carrollton) gage, if necessary. The contractor must provide a dredge that meets the equipment requirements specified in the solicitation, including a minimum production rate for the dredging region. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder presenting the lowest priced responsive bid.
