Well 6 Site Improvements

The Well 6 Improvements project involves the demolition of existing facilities, construction of a new CMU building, installation of instrumentation controls, security controls, SCADA, and chemical feeds, among other tasks. The project aims to improve the water treatment and distribution system for the City of New Braunfels. Key aspects of the project include: • Demolition of existing Well 6 facilities • Construction of a new CMU building with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and chemical equipment • Installation of instrumentation controls, security controls, SCADA, and chemical feeds • Stormwater pollution prevention measures • Installation of an emergency generator and automatic transfer switch • Construction of two chemical bulk storage canopies • Installation of fencing and gates • Site grading, driveway, and restoration The project requires the contractor to verify project elevations, obtain GPS as-built information, and provide erosion/sedimentation controls. The contractor must also ensure that all temporary and permanent traffic control devices are properly installed and maintained.
