Fabrication and Delivery of Coffeeville Lock Lower Miter Gates and Spare Parts, Black Warrior-Tombigbee (BWT) Project Office, Tuscaloosa, AL

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mobile District is seeking information on the capability and availability of potential contractors interested in proposing on the fabrication and delivery of Coffeeville Lock Lower Miter Gates and Spare Parts. The scope of the work will consist of the Contractor furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to fabricate, paint, and deliver the miter gates and parts in accordance with plans and specifications. The set of miter gates contains two leaves, each approximately 55 feet tall and 62 feet wide, weighing approximately 445,000 lbs. per leaf. The Contractor will be required to deliver the gates by barge to Coffeeville Lock and take ownership of the old gates and haul them off by barge at the time of delivery of the new gates. • The project requires the fabrication and delivery of miter gates and spare parts. • The gates are approximately 55 feet tall and 62 feet wide, weighing approximately 445,000 lbs. per leaf. • The Contractor will be required to deliver the gates by barge to Coffeeville Lock. • The Contractor will also be required to take ownership of the old gates and haul them off by barge at the time of delivery of the new gates.
