Description
The Ozaukee County is seeking a qualified contractor to decommission an old radio tower and transfer existing equipment to a new tower. The scope of work includes the removal of obsolete equipment from multiple radio services buildings, dismantling and removing the old tower structure, and restoring the site to its original condition. The contractor will be required to provide a detailed Decommissioning/Safety Plan, progress reports, and inventory and disposition reports. The project is expected to start on September 1, 2026, and be completed by December 31, 2026.
• The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and approvals.
• The contractor will be required to provide a payment and performance bond.
• The contractor will be responsible for restoring the site to its original condition.
• The contractor will be required to provide a detailed inventory report of all removed items.
• The contractor will be required to provide photographic documentation of all key tasks.
