Description
The Harris County Department of Education is seeking proposals for Modular Buildings and Related Items Maintenance Component and Component for Single Trade Job Order Contracting. The contract will be for a period of one year with the option to renew for up to three additional years. The contractor will be responsible for providing maintenance services for modular buildings and related items, as well as job order contracting services. The scope of work includes maintenance, repair, alteration, renovation, remediation, or minor construction of facilities.
The key requirements for the contractor include:
• Providing pricing discount schedules and comprehensive pricing information
• Submitting time-and-materials pricing, including a discount off of a catalog or price list for supplies, materials, and equipment, and an hourly not-to-exceed rate for labor
• Providing a coefficient proposal for any Unit Price Books (UPBs) they intend to utilize under this contract
• Including services that are required to obtain building permits and meet local and state standards for design and oversight
• Guaranteeing the performance of labor and providing a benchmark to determine labor hours for each project
The evaluation criteria for the proposals will include experience, references, quality of the vendor's product(s)/service(s), and price.
