Design Services for Project Downtown Main Street Improvements

The City of Littleton is seeking a design consultant to lead the design process for Main Street improvements in downtown Littleton. The selected consultant will be responsible for preparing and advancing design documents, supporting value engineering and constructability reviews, coordinating independent cost estimating, and developing phasing strategies and compliance documentation to inform construction and future capital planning. The consultant will work with the City, stakeholders, and the community to ensure the design reflects the City's vision and priorities. Key responsibilities include: • Coordinating with the City's Director of Major Projects, Owner's Representative, and other stakeholders • Developing a Business Access & Continuity Plan to minimize disruption during construction • Creating a Parking & Curbside Management Strategy for the LDDA district • Preparing design documents, including a 30% schematic design package • Supporting value engineering and constructability reviews • Coordinating with the CM/GC and Independent Cost Estimator to ensure cost accuracy and compliance The City expects the consultant to have expertise in urban design, civil engineering, utility coordination, permitting, sustainability, cost estimating, schedule management, and stakeholder engagement.
