Notice to General Contractors

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a qualified general contractor to manage demolition, asbestos abatement, site improvements, and extensive renovations to create a new Campus Police Headquarters and expand parking facilities on the 22.5‑acre University Plaza property. The effort includes demolition of the main University Plaza building, removal of an adjacent Speech building and Dance Studio, and upgrades to existing parking lots and walkways. The contractor will also be responsible for preparing the site for future “pad‑ready” development. • Demolish the main University Plaza building and adjacent structures (Speech building, Dance Studio). • Perform minor asbestos abatement, HVAC replacement, electrical upgrades, new lighting, and interior renovations to convert the University Services Building into a Campus Police Headquarters. • Conduct site grading, parking lot expansion, and other improvements to create usable green space and support future development.
