Description
The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking competitive quotes for a Magnetic Road Sweeper. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose submission is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, considering cost and other factors such as meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedules. The submission must include alternate brand specifications for comparison to approved brands based on the same or higher level of performance. The Iowa DOT bidding process is subject to the procedures and requirements established in Iowa Administrative Code 761--20.
• The contract is for the supply of a Magnetic Road Sweeper as per specifications outlined on the Buyer Attachments Tab.
• Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination.
• Any manufacturers’ names, trade names, brand names, or catalog numbers used in the specification are for establishing and describing general performance and quality levels.
• Bidders must submit all questions through the Q&A Board, and responses will be posted on the Q&A Board.
• The Iowa Department of Transportation is a tax-exempt agency, and tax exemption certificates will be provided upon request.
